What & WHY?

Join us this April for an enlightening and personal event about neurodiversity in the clinic, led by Ashlie and the La Pelle team.

Ashlie is our Melbourne representative, a registered dermal clinician, and a passionate advocate for awareness and inclusion. Mikaela will share her journey with ADHD and other health struggles. She wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until she was 25, which has shaped her mission to raise awareness and provide support for those facing similar challenges.

In this event, Mikaela will share her personal story and shed light on the unique and exhausting obstacles that neurodivergent individuals face daily. From the complexities of skin health to managing multiple underlying health struggles, Mikaela will discuss how her experiences differ from those of neurotypical individuals and how these challenges have impacted her personal and professional life.

Mikaela will also address her workplace experiences—both positive and negative—and how having her own business has empowered her to thrive. She'll highlight the importance of creating a supportive, inclusive environment that enables neurodivergent people to succeed. Mikaela’s journey is a testament to resilience and the power of self-advocacy, and she is eager to create a cultural space where others can find the support they need.
